Use the Four Tips for an Effective Interview video and The Great Questions List to plan your interview. You can use these questions or write your own. Practice "the Pause" and ask follow-up questions.

Record your questions and answers in all of the following ways:

1. Before the interview, write your questions on paper (this avoids a phone distraction).
AND
2. Record the interview using Voice Memos on your iPad. Check sound quality before you start.
AND
3. After the interview, create a transcript (write out what was said by whom) of your favorite 2 minutes of the conversation by typing your questions and answers into a Google Doc. You can do your interview in another language. If you do this, type a summary of the conversation in English instead of the transcript.
