The objectives for the day can be accomplished in any order that works for your department team. By the end of the morning each department teams need to:
Figuring Grades: Participate in a lead teacher–facilitated learning experience to calibrate the use of mounting evidence and professional judgment when determining grades.
Collaborative Agreements: Content Area Team Leads facilitate a session to review key Mastery Learning elements and create a consensus-based draft for later refinement by Design Teams.
Proficiency Scales: Content Area Proficiency Scales can be accessed through the Content Area subpages of this website.
Core content teams finalize all revision notes/comments on their Proficiency scales; Design Teams will apply revisions at the end of the semester; revised scales will be published for the start of 26-27 school year.
Elective content area teams continue scale development toward a May completion deadline (additional time can be scheduled as needed by requesting from John, Leigh or Meghan).
At the end of the morning, please complete the Feb 2nd PLP Evaluation Form
Each Content Area Team has a Google Doc template for Collaborative Agreements below. If content area teams want to establish Collaborative Agreements by Middle School and by High School, teams may create another tab in their Content Area Collaborative Agreements Google Doc to separate Middle School from High School. (for help on how to do this, see Duplicate Tab in this how-to).
