This High School MBKIEP STEAM room is a mobile makerspace where students can work on problems facing their community, participate in career readiness and college preparatory workshops, and explore their own interests.
The STEAM includes:
Mobile work tables for collaborative work.
Tools and supplies
3D printers including one Industrial 3D printer
Flight simulators
Computers to E-gaming
Drones
Submersible drone
Engraving machines
CNC router
SpheroBOLT Coding Robots
Audio/Video equipment
The J.W. Leary Middle School library has been modified to incorporate its very own makerspace. Mobile shelving allows for the creation of multiple work spaces. Mobile workstations create a flexibility when separating for group projects. Students will have access to audio/video equipment, 3D printers, STEM kits, sewing and embroidery machines, cricuts, heat presses, STEM kits, arduino kits, etc...
