Varsity Baseball

Welcome to the Manchester Varsity Baseball Team Page!

Varsity Baseball Head Coach: Nick Niehaus

I graduated from Manchester in 1998, and then went to Eastern Michigan University. I graduated from Eastern In December of 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Besides when I was at Eastern Michigan I have lived my whole life in Manchester. I have been teaching her since 2010. I started out teaching 5th grade science for 1 year, then I was moved to 4th grade for the next 6 years. After that I taught 2 years of 6th grade math and now I am back in 4th grade. I have coached 9 years of J.V Baseball along with 5 years of varsity. In basketball I coached the J.V. team for 2 years, the Freshman team for 4 years, and I am currently in my 4th season of coaching 8th grade. I have also coached 11 years of middle school football and 1 season of varsity.

My greatest Manchester sports memories are going to Friday night football games when I was younger. You always looked forward to Friday nights in the fall to go watch the varsity game. My greatest coaching memory is my first year of coaching varsity baseball and our team making it all the way to region finals.
