Naviance Information
Naviance is an online college platform used throughout MCPS. When students are applying to colleges whether through the Common Application, Coalition application or the institution's own application, all documentation, transcripts to Letters of Recommendation, are sent through Naviance. In this video, Ms. Taylor, one of our wonderful Wootton counselors, demonstrates how to request transcripts and letters of recommendation in naviance as well as how to match the common application to your naviance account.
When students are researching colleges, they will do this in Naviance. Students are able to compare prospective colleges, view scattergrams looking at other Wootton students acceptance history, and decide whether or not they want to apply to the institutions. Parent Access to Naviance
For several years, parents were able to access their student's naviance accounts with essentially, editing abilities. Parents are able to go into their students accounts with mainly VIEW only permissions. How do parents log into Naviance?
