Our 2021 Marching Band Show Reveal
A remembrance including music from Wootton's first music album from 1971 and performances from Spring 2019 & 2020 to compare how far Wootton's music programs have come in the past 50 years.
On behalf of our band and orchestra students, WolfTrap awarded us a grant to compose an Alma Mater for Wootton’s 50th Anniversary.
This artist in residence program brought musician, composer, and conductor C. L. Thomas to lead a series of master classes on composition and music technology. Students worked with Mr. Thomas to create an alma mater celebrating the school’s 50th anniversary. Thomas arranged the new composition for choral singers, concert band, and marching band.
"Like a Mighty Stream" performed by the Wootton High School Wind Ensemble
Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Patriot Winds, and Jazz Band.
