How to Submit SSL Hours at SVHS
Ensure your activity has been pre-approved.
Complete MCPS Form 560-51 in it's entirety, including all required signatures!
Once form 560-51 is complete, please fill out and upload it to the Google form linked here: SVHS SSL Google Submission Form
If you are having issues with the Google form, please a photo or pdf of your form email Mrs. Duffy: Paulina_M_Duffy@mcpsmd.org
When sending via email, please include your Student ID Number & "SSL Form" in the subject line.
Please note: Hours are updated regularly. Students should be able to view their updated number of hours by the end of each marking period.

This is a reminder that seniors must have 75 SSL hours for graduation submitted by May 22, 2026.
Please take a moment to check your SSL record to ensure that you have enough SSL hours. You can find directions about how to check your SSL record in the attached document. Please check out the Student Service Learning HUB for MCPS Students and Families or come see me in the Counseling Department if you need help finding SSL opportunities.
You may be recognized for exceptional service in your senior year by having documented 240 or more hours of service by MARCH 27, 2026. You will receive a certificate of Meritorious Service from MSDE and MCPS and a purple tassel to wear at graduation services.
