Welcome to the International Baccalaureate Programmes at Springbrook HS!
A whole school vision since 1998 (DP) and 2009 (MYP).
Springbrook is proud to offer a continuum of IB Programmes from 9th through 12th grade. In 9th and 10th grade, all SVHS students experience an IB education through the Middle Years Programme (MYP), which is infused into all of their core courses. In 11th and 12th grade, students can choose to take individual IB Diploma courses, or can participate in the full IB Diploma Program (IB DP).

All 9th & 10th graders will experience an MYP-aligned education.

In 11th & 12th grades, students have the choice between individual IB Diploma courses, or the full IB Diploma Program.

9th & 10th Graders
Whole-School Programme (all 9th and 10th grade courses are MYP)
Culminates in a Personal Project in 10th grade
No application needed
Regional Magnet program is by application
IB DP
11th & 12th Graders
Optional Programme (open to all students)
Students take 6 IB DP courses over the two years
Students complete an Extended Essay, complete CAS (Creativity, Activity, & Service), and take the Theory of Knowledge course
Students can opt to take individual courses.
