Welcome to AOIT
The Springbrook Academy of Information Technology is an academy offered by the National Academy Foundation (NAF).
NAF academies offer high school students a unique opportunity to explore potential careers. Students get to meet business professionals and participate in activities that reflect the business world. Through this experience, NAF academy graduates are better prepared for college, career, and future success.
The Academy of Information Technology prepares students for career opportunities in programming, web design, digital networks, and other areas in the expanding digital workplace.
Completing the AOIT program, students will become NAFTrack certified.
NAFTrack Certification is achieved through an online system created by education and business leaders to assess college and career readiness.
NAFTrack Certified Hiring is a promise to give special consideration to college students and eventual job applicants who, as high school graduates, earned the NAFTrack Certification.
There are only six AOIT programs in MCPS and we are proud to be the largest.
