Counseling Program

Rosa Parks Middle School Professional School Counselors are leaders who are committed to the academic success and personal growth of all students with a focus on college and career readiness. Through a collaborative team approach, we serve as advocates for our students. We provide students with opportunities for academic, social, and emotional development through classroom lessons, counseling groups, individual counseling, and school-wide programs. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: bullying prevention, cyber civility, emotional intelligence, social skills, self advocacy, responsible decision making, conflict resolution, college and career exploration, character education, and diversity.
