The Chromebook is NOT working! What do I do?
Just visit the Media Center and Ms. Portocarrero or Mrs. Steele-Yu will assist you with this!
As a reminder, Ridgeview is using a cart model for the 2025-2026 school year. This means students have access to Chromebook during each class. It is up to the teachers discretion on their use for instruction each day.
If students have any concerns about their technology not working properly, they are asked to visit the Media Center staff for support and or replacement parts.
A home device can be requested from MCPS by a staff member for a student, or by their parent/guardian. Once MCPS approves it, Ms. Portocarrero fulfils the orders when she is notified by MCPS. An MCPS MiFi device can also be requested by a staff member for a student, or by their parent/guardian.
