The LEGO Robotics club is a club for student, specifically, English language learners, to receive their first hand-on experience with robotics. Students will engage in building and coding robots to complete missions. Students with experience in robotics will help a small group a students construct robots out of LEGOs and code using a program similar to Scratch.

The First Aid & Anatomy club is designed to give hands-on experience to students interested in the field of health. In the club, students can get multiple medical certifications including first aid and CPR, volunteer to help healthcare workers, and participate in dissections to explore biology and the body!

Our Pre-Med/Pre-Health Professions club will have speakers come in from the health professions to share information about how students might pursue education to work in the medical field. We will look at dual enrollment courses students can take while at Northwood from Montgomery College.

We are excited to announce the launch of Northwood's Rocketry Club, a hands-on program where students will design, build, and test model rockets while preparing to compete in the American Rocketry Challenge, the world’s largest student rocket contest. Through this experience, students will gain valuable skills in physics, engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork - skills that directly connect to future careers in STEM. The club offers students an opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges while fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
