Calor Gladiador is Northwood High School's Latin Dance Club. Calor Gladiador provides a safe space for students to learn, practice, and teach each other Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Samba, Rumba and other Latin dances. Students will also learn rhythm, partner dances, the skills of leading/following and self-expression in addition to the historical and cultural context of popular Latin Dances and their connection to the West African Diaspora.

The mission of our Muslim Association club is to foster a strong sense of unity and spiritual growth among Muslim students at Northwood while promoting understanding and respect for Islam within our school community. Through engagement in educational, cultural, and service-based activities, we aim to create a safe and inclusive space where students can develop their faith and identity and cultivate meaningful relationships with one another. By upholding and embracing the values of tolerance, compassion, and social responsibility, we strive to be ambassadors of Islam by promoting positive dialogue and dispelling misconceptions, fostering a harmonious and inclusive environment for all.

The Northwood African Dance Association is a club dedicated to spreading the joy of Afro dance while educating students about African & Caribbean Culture. All students are welcome to participate as we will be learning dances that combine traditional African dance with modern moves seen in many countries in Africa and the Caribbean.
