Alison Gee (Director) is the founder of Husky Drama and earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in drama from Syracuse University. She currently is a senior faculty member at Imagination Stage. Alison has been a teaching artist with Imagination Stage for 23 years. Last year she co-directed the ISPE production of Lord of the Flies with Nikki Kaplan. Alison's favorites as the Co Director for the Sprin ISPE productions are: Romeo and Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, and Crush. She directed the Speak Out On Stage Company’s original production of Fanatics in 2015. Alison has contributed as a performer and deviser for DC-based theater ensemble dog and pony dc. She performed at the White House during the 2010 and 2011 Halloween Events as Esmerelda the Good Witch. Alison also can be seen around the metro area as fantasy storyteller Beatrice Pickles. She was the director of Kids Kingdom at the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, Wisconsin, for four years. Over the past twenty years, Alison has worked with children in schools, day camps, and residential summer camps. In addition to performing, directing, and teaching drama for children, Alison has lectured at regional camp conferences and other workshops on the topics of theater games and creative play. She excited for her 8th year of Husky Drama.
