Seussical Jr. begins with JoJo, a boy whose imagination is anything but ordinary. With a single “think,” he brings the Cat in the Hat to life and is swept away to the Jungle of Nool. There, Horton the Elephant discovers a tiny world—Whoville—living on a speck of dust, and vows to protect it, even when no one else believes it exists.
As Horton faces doubters like the Sour Kangaroo and the mischievous Wickershams, he’s also juggling a few other problems—an unnoticed admirer, Gertrude McFuzz, and an egg-sitting favor for the carefree Mayzie La Bird. Through it all, the Cat in the Hat keeps things spinning until JoJo finally finds his voice and saves Whoville with one big, imaginative “think!”
A story full of heart, humor, and Horton-sized courage, Seussical reminds us that a person’s a person, no matter how small!
