Here is the link: https://www.montgomerycollege.edu/admissions-registration/assessments.html
The assessment has 2 parts- assessment 1 is the diagnostic; assessment 2 is the actual placement test. Both parts MUST be completed to obtain a placement; the “placement” given after the diagnostic does not count.
Once you do the assessment, send a message to yolandra.johnson@montgomerycollege.edu with your scores.
Assessment Scores Needed
SAT- Reading 480, Math 530
ACT- Reading 21, Writing 21, Math 21
Accuplacer- Reading 263, Writing 269, Math 263 (Requirements for specific degree programs in Early College are different. Please refer to the Early College email for your specific requirements.)
AP Scores may also place students in higher level classes.
A combination of unweighted GPA and Grades in specific classes may also qualify students for courses.
MC also now offers some remote placement tests. More information can be found here. You can ask the DEPA about requesting remote placement after you have your M Number from MC. All communication for testing will come to your My MC email so please check that email on a regular basis.
