• Seniors who have been selected for awards will be invited to an in-person ceremony via a phone call and email the week of May 10th.

• The ceremony will take place during homeroom on May 25th (1:30 - 2:30 pm)

• Due to COVID restrictions, only students who are receiving awards will attend.

  • Students who are in-person that week will head to the auditorium at 1:30 p.m. except their base location.

  • Students who are not in person-that week, or not in-person at all will be able to come to the school and attend. Students will sign into the main office and report to the auditorium at 1:15 p.m.

• The ceremony will be live-streamed for families. Additional information about accessing the live stream will be sent to families prior to the ceremony.

Students attending the ceremony must fill out the MCPS attestation within 3 days of the award ceremony if they are attending via the MCPS Student COVID-19 Attestation Form.

I am reaching out to share some reminders about and the live stream link for the senior awards that are taking place tomorrow. If you are receiving this email it is because your student, [STUDENT_FNAME] has been selected by one of their teachers to receive an award this year! I sent an initial email to you May 12^th and wanted to follow up with the specific details.

Our ceremony will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the James Hubert Blake High School Auditorium during homeroom time. Due to COVID restrictions, only students who are receiving awards will be able to attend.

Students who are in the building on the day of the ceremony will report to the auditorium at 1:30 p.m. instead of their base location. Students who are not in person that week will sign into the main office and report to the auditorium by 1:30 p.m. (Students should arrive a bit earlier so they can sign in and report to the auditorium).

Students attending the ceremony must fill out the MCPS attestation within 3 days of the award ceremony if they are attending via the MCPS Student COVID-19 Attestation Form, if they have not already completed it this week.
