If a student must be checked out of school for a Medical/Dental Appointment or other planned event, etc.., The parent/guardian must sign out the student in the Main Office and show valid photo identification before leaving campus with the student.
Please allow time in your schedule for the Office staff to retrieve your student from their class. (Students could be testing, in Athletics, or in a Lab)
If your student drives to school you must send a signed note requesting that they be allowed to leave for their appointment, etc. They must still sign out in the main office. (The attendance secretary may call to verify the validity of the note.)

For example, doctor or dental appointments require a doctor’s note, court dates require court documentation, religious observances require an explanation, and absences due to a death in the family require appropriate documentation such as a funeral program or memorial pamphlet.
No. To protect instructional time, students will not be called out of class to wait in the main office before their parent or guardian arrives. Once you arrive and complete the check-out process in the main office, we will call the classroom for your child to be dismissed. Please plan accordingly.
