Volunteer for the Capstone Project @

There are plenty of ways you can get involved in the Capstone Experience at Argyle!

Do you have two hours to volunteer on Dec 10, 2019?

We are looking for engaging, positive adults to help interview students as part of their capstone experience on Tuesday, Feb 1st, 2018.

Tech backgrounds are nice but not required. Volunteers have the option of signing up for three different sessions during the day.

If you think you would like to volunteer as a Capstone Interviewer, get more info and sign up here:

Do you want to work with students long-term and work with them as a Tech Mentor?

A big part of the Capstone Project experience is having students work with professionals in the tech field they are interested in.

As a Tech Mentor, you would:

  • Meet at least Three (3) times in person with students to discuss their project
  • Provide students with regular feedback on their project
  • Serve as a role model for students

If you are interested in this unique opportunity, please email Dave Moore, Magnet Team Leader (david.g.moore@mcpsmd.net)

Do you want to give students feedback on their projects but can't commit to being a Mentor?

Consider volunteering to be a panelist for the Capstone Shark Tanks that will take place during Magnet Showcase night, Thursday, May 21st.

Panelists will observe student's final presentations, offer feedback and provide students the opportunity to ask questions.

If you are interested in signing up to volunteer for the Magnet Showcase, please email Dave Moore, Magnet Team Leader (david.g.moore@mcpsmd.net)
