• Why Environmental Literacy? A Call To Action - This is an excellent tool that describes why to implement Environmental Literacy in any and all content areas through various lenses of motivation. 

• CREEC Network - A local California network of environmental educators and county offices working to improve access to Environmental Literacy.

• NOAA Educator Resources - MANY lessons about watersheds, coastal ecosystems and human impact. 

• Environmental Literacy for ALL - website for Students, Teachers, Admin and Community Partners with tons of great resources curated by Santa Cruz County Office of Education.

• Santa Cruz Teacher Leadership Institute -Check out the fantastic curation of materials under the Supporting Materials Tab! Everything you need to get you started on a well crafted page. The lesson sequences were created by local educators in Santa Cruz and many relate to similar ecosystems here in Mendocino.

• California Environmental Education Inter-agency Network (CEEIN) Calendar - This is a calendar of wonderful and free events put on all over the state both in-person and virtual.

• National Association of Environmental Education - A wealth of environmental resources for inside and outside the classroom.

• SEEC - Sonoma Environmental Education Collaborative - Lots of wonderful and LOCAL resources for Educators and Community members.

• CAELI Green Guardians CBP Hub -This website facilitates searching local outdoor education and fieldwork opportunities by county. Mendocino County will be coming soon! 

• CEEIN - includes a broad range of the State's environmental and cultural resources including links to all the sate agencies like Fish and Wildlife, Food and Agriculture etc. The CEEIN partnership provides a forum for its members to share resources, programs, and materials with California's public schools and students TK-College.

• San Diego County Office of Education Environmental Literacy Webpage - The resources page includes entire units created by educators in San Diego.

• Solutionary Teaching and Learning Resources Page  & Resource Center for Sustainable Climate Resilient Schools - These are both created through the San Mateo Office of Education and contain many excellent resources to address the issues of our planet. 

• Environmental Literacy Connections to History and Social Science - An excellent resource for how to connect Environmental Literacy to History and Civic Engagement.
