Samia is from Markham, Ontario, Canada. She completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She recently earned her Teaching and Learning Curriculum Certificate from the same institute as her doctorate. Samia’s professional interests include academia, infectious disease, and ambulatory care pharmacy. After completing a PGY-1 residency, she plans to pursue a PGY-2 in her area of interest and hopes to practice as a clinical pharmacy specialist and pharmacy professor. Outside of pharmacy, Samia enjoys spending time with her nieces, working out at the gym, and keeping up with the latest fashion trends.
