The 5th grade Burks Ambassadors are the leadership team of Burks Elementary School! They had to apply for the team, write an essay about how they will be a leader in the school. The Ambassador Committee (made up of principals, 4th & 5th grade teachers, the counselor, and office staff) read through the essays, discuss behavior from the past and present, attendance, and discuss work ethic. The 10 students are chosen out of 40-50 students that apply for the team.
The Ambassadors are in charge of community service events, and they work all of the family events at Burks. The Ambassadors also lead our Good Morning Burks pep rallies each month, and do many other leadership duties throughout the school year. We are so proud of our Burks Ambassadors!!!
