Presenter: Katie Chang is the Executive Director at the Center for Tomorrow's Leaders, an organization dedicated to developing young leaders for Hawaii. Prior to her CTL appointment, she was certified as a presenter of the Leadership Challenge, worked as an advisor in the US/UK Fulbright Commission in London, and interned at the Hawaii State Legislature and Governor's Office. Ms. Chang is a graduate of Pepperdine University. In her free time she is an avid reader, serves on her local neighborhood board, and is a member at New Hope Town church.

Presenter: Ms. Joy Yoshida is the Programs Coordinator and Student Leadership Facilitator at the Center for Tomorrow's Leaders, an organization dedicated to developing young leaders for Hawaii. She was born and raised in Kaneohe and is a graduate of Hawaii Baptist Academy. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, she returned home to Hawaii where she taught the 4th grade at Windward Nazarene Academy for 15 years. In her free time, she is spending time with her two sweet nieces, serves on her church's leadership board, and is a member at First Presbyterian Church in Kaneohe.

Presenter: Francis Vilar has been dancing and has been part of the McKinley Dance Club since his freshman year. As a McKinley Alumnus, Class of 2014, he has continuously made an effort to come back to the club as a mentor and, eventually, became the head coach for McKinley’s Varsity Division in the Honozulu Beast Dance Competition (an annual high school dance competition held in Hawai‘i). From there, he realized and acknowledged his passion for dance as an educator. Currently enrolled at UH Mānoa, he now aims to be a secondary school teacher focusing on dance. He believes that dance has already proven itself to be one of the most beneficial art-forms for the youths. One of his lifelong goals is to bring importance in dance to secondary education and, specifically, encourage high schools in Hawai‘i to include dance as part of their curriculum.

Presenter: Mr. Cal Muramaru is a McKinley High School teacher who has been playing baseball since age 5. While attending Mid-Pacific Institute, he was a 3-year starter in the Outfield. His team won the ILH championship from 2012-2014, and the State championship in 2013. He made 1st team All-ILH, and All-State Honorable Mention in 2014. He also played college baseball at the University of Puget Sound (West Coast Washington) and has traveled to the neighbor islands and many mainland states to play baseball, including Iowa (9u) and New York (Cooperstown). As a collegiate athlete, he played in the Outfield as a four-year starter, stole 45 bases (4th all-time), and batted .397 his senior year. Mr. Muramaru is currently the Outfield and Baserunning coach for the MPI Intermediate Baseball team.

Presenter: Ms. Lillian McLeod, a teacher at McKinley High School, is a photographer and artist who doesn't merely take a portrait. Her goal is to capture those fleeting moments that express the essence of a person. Art is the definition of capturing these beautiful and timeless moments in a meaningful and deep level. This is what drives her creative process. The photos from your session will always take you on a journey back to those moments of true feeling~ joy, love, laughter, and sheer fun. When you look at your photos, you will also feel them. That feeling of reliving each experience and bringing it to the present is the overarching goal of her work.

Presenter: Ms. Sheena Choy is the Fellows and Alumni Programs Coordinator & Student Leadership Facilitator at the Center for Tomorrow's Leaders, an organization dedicated to developing young leaders for Hawaii. She was born and raised in Honolulu and is a graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute. She received her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Pepperdine University and holds an undergraduate Certificate in Conflict Management from the Straus Institute for Dispute Studies Resolution. She is passionate about connecting cultures, and has explored Asia as a student, intern, homestay participant, and teacher. In her free time, she loves doing yoga, reading, hiking, and having discussions about soul.
