Kailey fox Invite

Kailey was a 2020  Yorkville graduate and a decorated Cross Country and Track athlete at Yorkville High School whom we sadly lost this past spring.  She was an integral part of many outstanding State trophy-winning Yorkville Foxes running teams and put up exceptional individual times. She holds the second fastest time in YHS XC history on the state course at Detweiler Park in Peoria, with an impressive 16:42. She also crushed the lead leg of the 4 x 800 State Semifinals with a 2:16 split to help her teammates secure a spot in the Finals the following day, giving them the 3rd fastest time in the state that year. She was small, but so mighty. 

Perhaps more importantly though, she was a beloved teammate, friend and family member, gone way too soon.  Kailey’s personality was compassionate, smart, beautiful, and incredibly funny. She could make anyone laugh, even on the worst day, with her goofy personality and infectious smile. We dedicate this event to her memory and want to honor the positive impact she had on the lives of so many in her very short life.
