Driver Education
Driver Education classes are offered after school at McDowell High School. Classes are offered once a month, the list will be posted in the commons on the Information Bulletin Board. Only students on the list will be allowed to attend.
Class time: 3:30-5:30 in the Chorus Room

Class Portion
Class Portion
Students must complete 30 hrs of instruction and an eye exam.
Students are allowed 3 excused absences but must attend the make up days to receive credit.
Driving Portion
Driving Portion
Students will be contacted when it is their turn to drive.
6 hours of driving is required and generally takes place over 6 consecutive days.
There is a $65 charge that must be paid before the student receives their Driver Education Certificate.
