Communicate clear and succinct plans for moving forward as info becomes available to staff, parents, and community.
Set district-wide health guidelines. (Share out in various forms of communication: newsletters, websites, social media, parent/community forums.)
Provide guidance for changes regarding school-based health screenings.
Finalize health screening/safety protocols and communicate accordingly.
Revise site specific screening/hygiene protocols (signage, etc) for students to have visual and verbal reminders for the "new" normal procedures.
Revise plans for visitors in our schools.
Update and publish MC COVID/Health Guidance
23-24 Wellness Protocols (Masks, Social Distancing, etc.)
Encourage social, emotional, and mental health lessons daily with a focus on listening and responding to needs, which may result in recommendation for further screening/referrals.
Maintain a district-wide plan for ongoing support for staff focusing on mental and physical health.
Prevent the spread of infection/disease.
Use signage in classrooms/hallways/other areas as learning tools for students as necessary.
Revisit and revise limited contact policy.
Keep student and staff health records updated regularly.
