Song Club focuses on building positive mental health strategies through meaningful song and teamwork for students of roughly the same age.
We learn the songs together and then some students provide the instrumental accompaniment while also singing.
Rehearsals are Friday afternoons in Veritas Room V34
3:30pm Commence warm-up with Vox
3:45pm Separate into different rooms
4:30pm Regather and farewell sing with Vox
4:45pm Afternoon Tea
5:00pm Departure
In 2025, Junior Choir and Song Club are being run in conjunction with one-another.
Song Club is open to students in approximately Years 6-10.
Song Club is for boys who are experiencing a changing voice.
This could be anywhere between Years 6-10, and even earlier or later.
Students whose voices are going through rapid changes will feel most comfortable at Song Club.
Junior Choir is open to students in approximately Years 4-7
Junior Choir is for boys who have an unchanged voice.
This could be anywhere between Years 4-7, and sometimes even later.
Students whose voices are still in their treble range will feel most comfortable at Junior Choir.
As your voice changes, your teacher will give you strategies to help.
Once numbers increase, the two ensembles will performance separately with different directors.
There are no auditions required for Song Club.
Song Club is open to anyone who is interested in joining.
You may be asked to sing individually every now and then to help place you in the right spot alongside similar voice types within the ensemble.
There are no fees for participating in Song Club.
You may be required to pay for participation in Music Camp or tours, or for Morning Teas/Afternoon Teas during weekend rehearsal days.

A great attitude!
Students will be issued with a free folder. Students must replace the folder at a cost of $30 if it becomes lost or damaged.
