The Michigan American Legion Boys State and Michigan Auxiliary Girls State Programs – up to $10,000
Youth Cadet Law Enforcement Program (Student Trooper) – $500-$1,000
Legacy Scholarship – up to $20,000 for children of U.S. military members who died on active duty after 9/11/01. Children of post-9/11 veterans having been assigned a combined disability rating of 50 percent or greater by the Department of Veterans Affairs also qualify.
William D. & Jewell Brewer Scholarship – $500. Legacy awards provide $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of dues-paying Elk members. For the 2024 contest, any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2021, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2021, is eligible to apply. The Elk must also be a paid-up member through March 31, 2024. Great-grandchildren are not eligible.

CALVIN COOLIDGE PRESIDENTIAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

For Juniors planning to enroll in college in the Fall of 2024. Must be an American citizen or legal permanent resident. This is a full-ride scholarship for four years of undergraduate study. Applicants are chosen based on academic excellence and their interest in public policy. Applicant should have an appreciation for the values of President Coolidge as well as humility and service. ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS (NATIONAL) Posted: September 25, 2023

Applicants will be judged on Academics, Leadership, Financial Need, and Service. Over 2.44 Million Dollars will be awarded. A total of 500 four-year scholarship awards will be given out this year! UP NORTH ARTS SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE ARTS

Applicants must be from Wexford and Missaukee County. We are accepting graduating high school seniors. We are also accepting university, trade school, and career tech students that have a proven artist ability in dance, literature, music, theater, visual arts, culinary arts, digital media, and design. Students must be accepted full time to an accredited college, university or trade school and must major or minor in one of
the aforementioned areas.
