Finalists may be asked to provide FAFSA determinations to verify eligibility. The intent of this policy is to award scholarship funds to students with financial need. The Michigan American Legion Boys State and Michigan Auxiliary Girls State Programs – up to $10,000
Youth Cadet Law Enforcement Program (Student Trooper) – $500-$1,000
Legacy Scholarship – up to $20,000 for children of U.S. military members who died on active duty after 9/11/01. Children of post-9/11 veterans having been assigned a combined disability rating of 50 percent or greater by the Department of Veterans Affairs also qualify.
William D. & Jewell Brewer Scholarship – $500. Legacy awards provide $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of dues-paying Elk members. For the 2024 contest, any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2021, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2021, is eligible to apply. The Elk must also be a paid-up member through March 31, 2024. Great-grandchildren are not eligible.

GREENSTONE FARM CREDIT SERVICES SCHOLARSHIP

FREE tuition for families with incomes less than $65,000. For families that make more than $65,000 but less than $180,000 there is tuition help/support. CERES SOLUTIONS SCHOLARSHIP

The Ceres Solutions Cooperative Scholarship is designed to benefit college-bound high school seniors within the communities we serve. Ten scholarships will be awarded, and each student receives $1,000. Students must have a parent or grandparent who is a member of the Cooperative. CALVIN COOLIDGE PRESIDENTIAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Past Due Deadline: February 23, 2023
For Juniors planning to enroll in college in the Fall of 2024. Must be an American citizen or legal permanent resident. This is a full-ride scholarship for four years of undergraduate study. Applicants are chosen based on academic excellence and their interest in public policy. Applicant should have an appreciation for the values of President Coolidge as well as humility and service. Applicant must also read President Coolidge’s Autobiography and complete other reading requirements. Applications are available HERE.
ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS (NATIONAL) Posted: September 25, 2023
Deadline: November 13, 2023
Applicants will be judged on Academics, Leadership, Financial Need, and Service. Over 2.44 Million Dollars will be awarded. A total of 500 four-year scholarship awards will be given out this year! UP NORTH ARTS SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE ARTS
Deadline: May 1, 2023
Applicants must be from Wexford and Missaukee County. We are accepting graduating high school seniors. We are also accepting university, trade school, and career tech students that have a proven artist ability in dance, literature, music, theater, visual arts, culinary arts, digital media, and design. Students must be accepted full time to an accredited college, university or trade school and must major or minor in one of
the aforementioned areas.
