At Perez Elementary, our parents and our community come together to provide the support for our students' success in every area. During the school year, Curriculum nights are held for every grade level to inform our parents and families of the upcoming lessons and activities that have been planned for their students. During our Red Ribbon events and Career Days, our parents and community always demonstrate their willingness to participate in the events held on campus and they give of their time to present to the students. With every holiday, our parents, students, and community also take part in our Holiday Drives. Canned food drives are held during the month of November, and hundreds of food items are donated by families. Gifts are donated for local children in need. Our community also comes together and hundreds of coats, blankets and socks are collected and donated to local families and shelters. In collaboration with the school social worker and the community, turkeys were also given to the families in need and over two dozen bikes and scooters were also given away to students. The collaboration of our parents and community is an essential role in the success of our school!
