"Beary" Kind Bears
As school counselor and promoter of kindness and emotional intelligent students, Mrs. Fuentes, created the "Beary" Kind Classroom event to go along with the theme of the year. Students' kind actions were observed by staff throughout the six weeks even when they thought no one was watching. They voted for one classroom per grade level that displayed the most kindness. Classroom winners would win the "Beary" Kind Classroom Bear. Parents and community members would also watch us live through social media during the announcement of winners and joined us in promoting kindness and showing empathy towards others.
