Managing Consultant
Zane is an experienced, technically competent and successful manager, with over 20 years’ experience in the maritime & energy sectors, specialising in high-spec offshore support vessels and projects but also maintains close ties in Commercial Shipping, Wind Farms and Fish Farming. Initially serving as a sea-going officer before progressing to roles as marine and fleet superintendent in the UK and moving into consultancy in 2010.
Zane has proven analytical credentials as consultant with over 10 years FMEA, Risk Analysis, Incident Investigation and DP Consultancy.
Strong ties to Renewables and Environmental Consulting, MCA continues to build our Environmental Consulting Team focussing of Sustainability, Circular Economy and Carbon Emission reduction.
Group Environment Lead
Ned attended Queen Mary University in London where he attained a MSc Ecological and Evolutionary Science and a BSc in Zoology with Aquatic Biology, specialising in aquatic ecology, genetics and aquaculture.
Ned is an Associate Member of IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment) and heads up our Environmental Research and Management department, specialising in carbon management and reduction and energy efficiency programs.
Particular capabilities in statistical modelling and data analysis and bringing data to deliver real solutions and quantifiable benefits.
Head of Warranty
Brian has in excess of 30 years’ experience in the industry coming from a technical background as an ex Chief Engineer with 20 years as Warranty Surveyor acting on behalf of P&I clubs and ship-owners on a variety of projects from cargo claims to major shipboard fires and collisions. Brian has a strong network of associates a surveyor in the Marine Warranty Sector.
