Remote DP Trials
In a collaboration with Navis Engineering and our Clients, MCA Consulting has developed the Smart Data system for Remote DP Trials.
By utilising the NAVIS 'NavReport' we are able to capture all systems internal data, all of the time.
The data is captured on board and system logs are then emailed to GHQ for decryption to enable assessment and assurance process. The majority of data is transferred in source code and decrypted by an independent 3rd Party, so improving the chain of custody of the evidence. This represents a significant improvement over other remote trials methods because even after the event all data can be viewed across all the systems and sensors ‘as if on board’.
MCA have already used the system to identify safety and maintenance improvements and deliver personnel training opportunities.
