Resources for parents to check media that children are watching.
Younger and younger we see our children using technology for school and play. Here at school we have a program called Blocksi that allows a teacher to actually see the screens of all of the students in their class. Similar to a teacher observing the behavior of the students within the classroom, we can observe what they are doing virtually while they are at school as well.
At home, we also encourage oversight of what children are watching on technology. If you ever have questions about the content of a show, movie, or game your child would like to watch, here are some online resources where you can check.

An online resource that our school subscribes to is called AXIS. They work to provide information to parents and educators about current trends in youth culture. They also provide some quick and informative parent guides that help to understand certain issues and provide conversation starters. Below are several of these guides. Feel free to use any you would like.
