SAT Testing at MAT- Registration on College Board is open

• Important Announcements:

- Grades 9-11: MATCC has already sent out the HS course interest survey for the next school year. In February, Mr. Cablish will begin scheduling individual meetings with students to discuss it further.

- To Grade 11 Parents：As your child prepares to enter their senior year after this summer, it’s time to plan for college applications. Please book a meeting here with our counselor, Mr. Cablish, to discuss university options and timelines. Mandarin translation is available upon request.

- Grade 11: Mr. Cablish wants to remind Juniors to log in to Cailfo and continue working on the information on the Profile Page.  Students need to include parents in the "Contact" section.  Then parents should receive an email from Cialfo in order to create a username and password for themselves so they can see Cialfo.

August and September

This is a reminder that you should now be filling out your Cialfo profile. You received instructions and access to this college application system back in May.

Please note the following key deadlines and information: (Please read "2025-26 Cialfo Set Up and College Planning" email carefully )

• College Planning Meetings: Mr. Cablish is starting to reach out to you during study halls to schedule our individual college planning meetings.

October

At this time in the school year, Senior's college plans should be mostly finialized.  

Any updates or changes to the college application list should be communicated to Mr. Cablish.  

Senior's should continue to work on college applications and essays.

Also, please inform Mr. Cablish as soon as you complete and submit an application so he can send the documents and letters from Morrison to that college or university.

November

Important note for college applications during the Christmas break.  Mr. Cablish may not be reached during the holiday.  If your college application deadlines fall during the Christmas break (December 20, 2025 through January 4, 2026), we ask that you work now and submit those applications before we go on Christmas break.  Mr. Cablish will submit all of the support documents from Morrison to those colleges and universities before Mr. Cablish go on Christmas break.  Any college application communications or updates need to be made before the Christmas Holiday.

Check all of the colleges and universities to which you have applied and see if they require a Mid-Year Transcript.  If so, inform Mr. Cablish by Wednesday, January 7 and he will send them out after S1 grades are finalized the week of January 5-9, 2026.
