KELLY EGAN

As an MBUSD alum herself, Kelly is proud to be a part of the MBMS team! She attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA, where she earned a BS in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. She loved the opportunity to live the East Coast lifestyle, but this South Bay native couldn’t stay away from the beach for too long, returning to pursue her MA in Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services Credential at Loyola Marymount University. 

Kelly is a firm believer in the power of a student-centered approach to counseling, striving to build meaningful connections as the basis for any intervention. With a solution-focused philosophy, she aims to empower her students to see themselves as the expert and change-maker in overcoming challenges and achieving goals. Outside of her counseling role, Kelly enjoys experiencing different cultures through world travel, watching live music (especially country), playing board games, relaxing at the beach, and cuddling her two kitties.
