I realized that I mistakenly posted all of Unit 1 Social Studies tests (through September 2026) on the wrong Google calendar. The correction has now been made. I will be adding tests throughout the year, by unit, on the Google calendar.

Week of August 31 - September 4:

This week we will finish up Unit 1 - Chapter 1. 

Students will be tested on this material on Tuesday, September 1.

How did the Agricultural Revolution change the way people lived?


Primary Focus Objectives: 

Explain the effects of the Agricultural Revolution, including the barter economy, food surpluses, domestication of plants & animals, specialization, and the growth of permanent settlements. 


Understand the meaning of the following vocabulary words: 

competition, cultivate, domesticate, surplus, specialize, textiles, barter, and infrastructure
