MBS 4th Grade - Social Studies

Week of February 9 - February 13:

Social Studies:

This week we will review for Unit 3 - Chapter 4 - "The Culture of Ancient Greece." Students will be tested on this material on Tuesday, February 10th. The study guide with answers is located on Google Classrooms.

Junior Achievement/Restaurant Project:

Students who are participating in the restaurant on Thursday may come to school that day in their restaurant attire. We will attend mass that morning. Please ensure that all guidelines regarding skirt and dress length, etc... is followed.
Please make sure that the job attire list is followed for restaurant days. If you have any questions, please email me.
Those students who are entrepreneurs for the restaurants may drop off their desserts in St. Ursula on Thursday and Friday mornings.

Homework:

Homework will be assigned throughout the year.
Homework is worth 5 points, incomplete homework is 3 points, and no attempt or missing homework is 0 points.
Homework CANNOT be made-up for partial credit if the student was present for both days (ex: when homework was assigned and when homework was due).
Please keep up with your student's assignment pad.

Study Guides:

Questions for the Study Guides are pulled directly from the textbook. Study Guides are a review of the chapter and should be used to prepare for the upcoming test.
Since the Study Guide is a review, study guides for upcoming tests will be given a few days before the test.

Tests:

Questions on the Chapter Tests will be similar to the information on the Study Guides.
Tests will vary in points.
