Over the last 3 weeks of school, we will finish our last unit - Unit 6 - Early Civilizations - The Mayas. Please see attached for more information on this unit. Students will be assessed through in-class participation; handouts; and short quizzes on both Chapter 1 & 2.

Homework:
Homework will be assigned throughout the year.
Homework is worth 5 points, incomplete homework is 3 points, and no attempt or missing homework is 0 points.
Homework CANNOT be made-up for partial credit if the student was present for both days (ex: when homework was assigned and when homework was due).
Please keep up with your student's assignment pad.
Study Guides:
Questions for the Study Guides are pulled directly from the textbook. Study Guides are a review of the chapter and should be used to prepare for the upcoming test.
Since the Study Guide is a review, study guides for upcoming tests will be given a few days before the test.
Tests:
Questions on the Chapter Tests will be similar to the information on the Study Guides.
Tests will vary in points.
