5th Grade Religion Book - Alive In Christ (Our Sunday Visitor)
Circle of Grace lessons will be taught during the weeks of August 21 - 25 and
August 28 - September 1.
The Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People requires that all children enrolled in Catholic Schools and Parish Schools of Religion receive Safe Environment training. The Diocese of Baton Rouge will provide such training for grades K-12 utilizing the program, Circle of Grace.
The Circle of Grace lesson plan for your child's grade level may be reviewed with the link and password below.

Students are required to write assignments in their assignment pads EVERY DAY. Assignment pads will provide the most accurate information regarding homework and tests.
Learning Standards Focus this week:

Homework: None
Prayers: A new prayer will be given about every 2 weeks to be tested orally. We say the prayer together in class at the beginning of class. The current prayer is the Mission Statement. I suggest working on a couple of lines at a time at home. If a student does not perform well, they are allowed to retest with scores averaged for a final grade.
Tests: Study Guides will be completed in class and/or at home 2 days before the test with answers reviewed in class for accuracy. If students would like to study in advance, they can review the highlights and activities completed in the textbook, as well as any additional worksheets.
Mission Statement:
Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School
serves our Church, its families, and the community, by nurturing Gospel values,
academic excellence, and a lifetime of prayer and service.
