Students will be required to complete 30 minutes of Language Arts IXL every week on an assigned skill that reinforces the topics being covered in class.

Parents, please note that even if your student has completed their assigned IXL topic for the week in less than 30 minutes and/or to a 100%, they are to continue working within the same topic until the 30-minute requirement has been reached.

Accelerated Reader Rewards (AR)
Students are encouraged to read books and earn AR points for prizes each nine-weeks!
AR prizes will be given out on Tuesdays.
Any pass earned from AR points can be used as followed:
No Homework Pass
This pass is good for any homework assignment up to 10 points in ELA, Reading, and Social Studies.
Can be used for DLR and IXL
10 Minute Chromebook Pass
Only redeemable during independent time or 10 minute Free Reading time.
Students are to only go on MBS approved websites.
No Shoes Pass
Students are allowed to use this pass to take off their shoes in class.
Any prize earned from AR is a reward and should not be a distraction to learning. If a student is frequently distracted by their prize, the prize will be taken away until the end of the day.
