 Tentative Itinerary 

Day 1: Travel

• Fly from Newark to Costa Rica (Liberia or San José ) and transfer to La Fortuna.

• Meet your guide and facilitation team, and enjoy a welcome dinner in the rainforest.

• Participate in a program overview and Spanish language warm-up.

Day 2: Heights + Hot Springs 

• Explore the Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges, a series of suspended walkways that take you through the heart of the rainforest canopy.

• After lunch, explore the local shops.

• Unwind in natural thermal hot springs.

Day 3: Conservation + Culture 

• Head to the Children’s Eternal Rainforest to participate in planting trees in a community-led rainforest restoration project.

•  Hands-on cooking class to prepare traditional dishes like gallo pinto and plantains.

•  Hike to a tropical waterfall and enjoy a refreshing swim. 

Day 4:  Canopies + Chocolate 

• Begin the day with an action-packed Zip line Adventure.

• Head to an interactive dance experience to learn traditional dances.

•  End the day with a participation in an immersive chocolate and cacao experience.

Day 5: Animal Rehabilitation/ Transfer to San José

• Visit a wildlife rehabilitation center and learn about conservation efforts.

• Transfer to San José or Liberia for a final group dinner and reflection.

Day 6: End of the tour

• Begin your journey home!
