Overview:
Get ready for an epic adventure to Costa Rica, known as the rich coast! Explore the breathtaking tropical region of La Fortuna, home to the iconic Arenal Volcano, while diving into thrilling activities like zip lining, making chocolate, soaking in natural hot springs, tree planting, and animal conservation work. Add Spanish immersion, dance classes, and unforgettable cultural experiences to the mix, and you’ve got the perfect blend of adventure and learning. This program will introduce students to cultural and environmental conservation themes in a fun, engaging, and enriching environment.
SIGN-UP CRITERIA:
You must be in 7th or 8th grade in 2026 to participate.
Attend the information session on Monday, 4/28, at 11:45 AM in MS 201.
Fill out the Google form and submit it before April 30th.
If selected, enrollment instructions will be emailed.
Estimated Cost Approximately: $4,300-$4,500
Financial Assistance:
Students receiving more than 50% financial aid will be eligible to apply for a travel grant once in middle school and twice in upper school.
Upon a student’s approval for the trip by the Global Travel or Athletic Trip Program, Morristown Beard School will cover up to 90% of the costs of the trip for those students receiving more than 50% aid.
Please note that families who are behind on tuition payments may not apply for a global or athletic travel grant until their tuition account balance has been paid in full.
