Teaches and promotes student data and privacy through his or her instruction and role as an educational leader.
Kindergarten - 5th-grade students are instructed in Digital Citizenship skills.
The Digital Citizenship curriculum covers Media Balance & Well-Being, Privacy & Security, Digital Footprint & Identity, Relationships & Communication, Cyberbullying, and News & Media Literacy.
Annually require the signing of Acceptable Use and Responsible Use Policies.
Ensure student checkout, circulation, and fine procedures preserve student privacy and are equitable
Develop a district-wide Digital Citizenship curriculum.
Enhance awareness and knowledge about privacy laws among staff, students, and parents.
