Concerned about your child's development? Click below to make a referral!
A referral for a screening or full developmental evaluation for an infant or toddler can be completed at anytime. Children are referred when they are not meeting developmental milestones, have a medical diagnosis known to impact development or were born prematurely. If you have any concerns about a child's development, now is the time to refer!
Referrals can be made by anyone from a pediatrician to a family member. Once a referral is made, the information will be sent to the child's school district and they will reach out.

After a referral is made, the early intervention team will reach out to caregivers. After receiving a brief history about the child, including the caregiver's developmental concerns, a decision will be made about what the next step will be. The team could determine that a screening, assessment or evaluation are necessary and will discuss those next steps with the family. The team needs permission via paperwork before moving forward with any next steps.
