April 4 - Mattenga’s 46 hosted a Spirit Night for New Braunfels HS. It was great seeing all the families enjoying themselves and our food.
April 4 - Mattenga’s Sea World also hosted a Spirit Night for the Stevens HS Speech & Debate Team. We were thrilled to host their first event with us. Thank you for allowing us to serve you.
April 8 - Paul and I had the great time today at Morgan's Wonderland Eggstravaganza event which was to create a safe and fun Easter egg hunt experience for kids with special needs. We met alot of interesting people and got to tell them all about Mattenga's. Some had heard of us, but most hadn't. We even met Morgan herself. Looking forward to partnering with them more in the future.
April 11 - Mattenga’s Schertz hosted a Spirit Night for First Baptist Academy of UC. We were thrilled to see all the kids and their families.
April 11 - Mattenga’s Sea World donated 8 pizzas to the Hyatt Hill Country Resort Golf Pro Shop.
April 12 - Career Day at Bob Lewis Elementary was a great success! The kids were so excited to learn about our jobs and asked lots of questions. Chara and Maddi (from Mattenga's - Military SeaWorld location) had a great time talking to them and answering their questions. They got to see some of their artwork and hear about their dreams for the future. It was a great experience, and we look forward to doing it again!
April 12 - Mattenga’s Sea World was blessed to be able to feed the Southeast area police dept. after one of their own was hit by a DUI suspect. Matt and Chaplain Ron delivered the meal to them. The officers were truly grateful for the food and prayers for their fellow injured officer. We are grateful for all they do in our community.
April 19 - All Mattenga’s locations celebrated National Garlic Day from 5-7 pm. There was garlic tasting for everyone and $5 cheesy garlic bread. The kids enjoyed planting their own garlic clove (while supplies lasted) and learned fun facts about garlic. We also gave out our Mattenga’s Garlic Basil Ranch. Thanks to all who came out and become “Garlicaholics” with us. A special thanks to Lowes and Home Depot for supplying the planting materials.
April 20 - Mattenga’s O’Connor hosted a Spirit Night for Longs Creek Elementary.
April 21 & 22nd: Mattenga’s Schertz catered to Revolution Church for their building construction project. They enjoyed Meatball Lasagna, breadsticks and Caesar salad. We’re blessed to be a part of their growing project in our community.
April 22 - Mattenga’s Schertz donated 20 pizzas to the Love Where You Live event. They are a non-profit organization that orchestrates complete neighborhood cleanups and home repair projects for those in need. We wanted to give a shout out to those who served and we’re grateful for the opportunity to donate pizzas and serve 100 volunteers: 7 churches involved, 300 volunteers total and 70 homes served.

April 28 & 29 - Revolution Church catering, Round 3 and 4. We served 2 more large groups Meatball Lasagna, salad and breadsticks. Despite the stormy night (28th), they had a great group show up for a good meal and an inspiring meeting.
