Last Day to Withdraw from Classes
The last day students may withdraw from 12, 15, and 16 week classes is two weeks before the end of the semester.
The last day students may withdraw from 8 week classes is one week before the end of the class.
Students can only use Self-Service to withdraw during the appropriate time frame.
If the time has passed for a student to withdraw from a class, they will not be able to withdraw.
Social Media:
Posts to social media sites regarding clinical experiences is strictly forbidden.
Impact: Breaches of this nature jeopardize our clinical placements and nursing program, and may negatively impact our program and college accreditation.
Students may not establish an MATC or clinical affiliate hosted
social media site.

Students on Leave:
Students on leave from the nursing program (i.e., PN, RN, and LPN RN progression), but are in good academic standing, have one (1) year from the last date of attendance in a technical course to return to the program to complete technical courses. Upon returning, the students will complete the required technical courses leading to degree completion. Students on program leave for more than one (1) year from the last date of attendance in a technical course will be required to repeat all core technical nursing courses related to currency in the clinical field of nursing.
