Fall 2026 class registration is now open! Classes start August 24! ESL classes are available in-person and online.
You can park in two parking garages at the Downtown campus at reduced cost. You must buy a parking permit AND pay $1.50 every time you park.
Many ESL students park in the 8th and State Parking Structure. If you parked here before, read carefully. You park differently now.

Register for a class or classes.
Have a Student ID Card. Get an ID in Room S-203C -- Student Life - Stormer Pass Office.
Buy a parking permit at the Cashier’s Office in Room S-110. ($25/semester, $40 Fall + Spring) - bring cash for easy payment
Put money on your Student ID Card:
Online: Go to the eAccounts Portal. Add money under Daily Student Parking Fee.
At a Kiosk Machine on Campus: Touch the screen. Press Reload → Daily Student Parking Fee. Tap your ID card. Add money with cash or credit card.
Campus Cash: You can also put money under Campus Cash. People use money from Campus Cash to buy food and other things at MATC.

Temporary Change to Parking in 8th and State Parking Structure
Temporary Change to Parking in 8th and State Parking Structure
The 8th and State Parking Structure is the closest parking structure to ESL classrooms. Most ESL students park here. If you parked here before, read carefully. You park differently now.
1. Enter the structure on 8th Street and take a ticket.
Press the button to take a ticket.
The gate will open.
Keep the Ticket.
2. Park your car. Hang up your parking permit.
3. Go to a kiosk on campus and print a receipt.
Touch the screen.
To add money, press Reload → Daily Student Parking Fee.
Tap your ID card.
After you have money on your account, press Check Balance → Print Balance.
Keep the Receipt.
4. Take your paper Receipt and get your Daily Parking Voucher(s). Go to one of the offices below:
8AM-6PM: Student Life, Room S203C
After 6PM: Public Safety, Room M274
Give the worker your student ID card and the receipt. Say how many vouchers you want. Keep the Vouchers.
You can buy up to ten vouchers in a week (up to 10 days of parking). You can use vouchers until December 31, 2026.
5. Go to your car and go to the Exit.
Put your ticket into the machine.
Then scan the code on a parking voucher at the bottom of the machine.
The gate will open so you can leave.
You must get your Parking Voucher before you leave the parking structure.
You use each voucher one time. Throw away the old voucher after you use it.
