The writers of Before 19 are thankful for one another as workshop colleagues and as careful editors of one another’s work. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our teacher, Dr. Stacy Van Beek, whose passion, encouragement, and inspiration guided us throughout the year. We are also incredibly thankful to everyone and everything that sparked our creativity and challenged us to think more deeply as writers.
