The purpose of the SAT is to measure a high school student's readiness for college, and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants. Students have the choice to take the SAT, ACT, or both when preparing for college. Register for the SAT by clicking the image to the right.
Students who meet certain criteria are eligible for a fee wavier to help cover the costs of the SAT. See your school counselor for assistance in receiving this wavier and visit sat.org/fee-waviers.
