What is Printmaking?
The activity of making pictures or designs by printing them from specially prepared plates or blocks. One of the benefits of printmaking is the ability to make multiple copies of the same image!
Styrofoam
Draw a design onto a Styrofoam printing plate using a ball point pen or dull pencil.
Go back and forth over the Styrofoam to completely indent the line. This will result in a crisp print.
Write your name on the back of the printing plate with a sharpie marker.

Allow the glue to dry completely before printing.

Mono Print
Using water based markers and a plexiglass printing plate, create a design or drawing.
Pull one print by pressing your image onto a wet piece of paper. The water in the paper will absorb the markers and transfer your design.
When your paper dries completely, other dry materials can be added to enhance the image.
