In this case, Google Classroom thinks you are a student. If your student has been logged into their school account on the device you're using, that could be causing the confusion. In Chrome, try going to the File menu and opening a "New Incognito Window" and then accessing the email again from there.
For some reason, Guardian Summary invitations don't work well on iOS devices. Try accepting the invitation from a computer. Once you have accepted, you should be able to receive the summaries on your iOS device without a problem.
This is a tricky one, but through trial and error, we've been able to get most of the situations resolved. Here are a few things to try:
Try accessing your email from a computer instead of a mobile device.
In Chrome, click on File > New Incognito Window, and then sign into your email account from there.
If using a gmail account, try accessing the recovery email address you used when you set up that gmail account. If you don't know your recovery email, click here and sign into your gmail account. Sometimes the invitation email has inadvertently been directed to that recovery email.
If you've tried all of these but still can't resolve the problem, please email Anne Reardon at annereardon@mbgsd.org for additional help.
