Welcome to Mixed Chorus! 

Mixed Chorus is open to all students grades 9-12 and is a choir that works on vocal technique, music reading ability, and performs music across many styles and time periods. One section meets on Day 2 during period 3 and the other on Day 4 during period 2. The full group meets every day 5 during period 5. 

IMPORTANT INFO: 

Concert Dates:

MASH Holiday Concert: December 17 2:00 pm 

MASH Spring Choral Concert: Thursday April 25. 

Concert Dress: 

Mixed Chorus and Concert Chorale will wear choir robes for the Holiday Concert and Spring Concert.  Students are asked to "dress nice" under their robes but no specific colors are required. School dress code does still apply. 

Virtual Sectionals: 

Concert Chorale Eligibility: 

Student's wishing to be eligible for Concert Chorale in the 23/24 school year will need to complete three tasks by April of  2024. 

1. Pass off all 12 sequentials from the sequential packet

• Sequentials must be passed off with Mr. K . There will be many opportunities to do this!  (I/E is an easy time to meet up and work on these)

2. Score a 100% on two note quizzes containing treble and bass clef note names. 

3. Demonstrate a level of music reading proficiency through completion and participation in in-class assignments.
